Hope your week was filled with goodness. Did you practice your breathing and positive thinking? I did but also had a few hiccups along the way, ha. I’m taking a breather from working on a client’s historic townhouse to bring you this post. All I can think about right now is gingham, stripes, and pretty flowers. Probably in that order. Sidenote: we planted flowers last weekend and I’m pleased to say I’ve kept them alive for a whole five whole days now. This weather has been such a rarity for our area – sunshine, actual cool breezes, and great temps. I’m savoring every moment!
A few preppy things I’m loving right now:
1. These espadrilles are beyond adorable. Must have.
2. Classic check wallpaper. Yes, always a timeless choice. This is great for creating an accent wall somewhere you need a pattern or focal point, or you can simply frame a big piece and use as art like they did in the picture here! If it’s too pricey, go in a with a few stylin’ friends and each take a piece for your art. Saves $$$.
3. Last, but certainly not least, this super prepped out and happy entrance redo. Hello spring!! I can’t even deal with the adorableness of her striped terracotta pots and coral painted mailbox. Check it all out here. It’s the little touches that make a big difference.
I’ve been invited to teach a stretch class to a team of 90 competitive runners later today. Really looking forward to it, but also feeling a bit nervous because I don’t want to ballet-dork-out with these young athletes, haha. Wish me luck!
xoxo
